A Walk
“The blurred lines for a young urban creative between experimentation and addiction.”
Adam Stab
Adam Stab is a biracial second generation graffiti writer and self taught multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between mixed media paintings, collage, assemblage, installation murals and photography.
Born in New York and raised in the Midwest and deep South, Stab moved to Baltimore in the early 80’s and immediately developed an ongoing dialogue with the city streets.
Stab’s present studio practice focuses on the use of trash and found objects collected from his travels through the city. Stab is still a consistent participant in the national graffiti community and is Baltimore’s oldest active member of the culture.
